IDOM is a pioneer in the purchase of used cars.
It has also emerged as a leading company in terms of sales of used cars.
In July 2016, the company changed its name to IDOM, a homonym of “idomu,” which means “rising to challenges,” to encapsulate its spirit of taking on the challenge of revolutionizing the distribution of automobiles.
It operates 492 stores across Japan, primarily under the Gulliver brand.(As of the end of November 2025)
